Jeana-Dee Allen is a bicyclist, creator, and avid hula-hooper, as well as an award-winning photographer and active community leader. She was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and moved to the Lansing area as an undergrad student at Michigan State University. She began building programs for Lansing youth in 2009 that incorporated new technology and photojournalism. She completed a Master of Arts in Education at Michigan State University in December 2014. In her spare time, she volunteers throughout Lansing to increase accessibility to the arts. She is also co-founder of The Robin Theatre.
